SOLID BRASS CASED KALEIDOSCOPE
This extremely rare and well engineered brass kaleidoscope has been sold from our eBay business listing. It was manufactured by Van Cort Instrument Makers USA.
The business was founded by Eric and Kate Van Cort in 1979. The “Nautilus” model was created in 1988. They were regarded at the time as being one of the top kaleidoscope manufacturers in the USA at the time and made a wide range of instruments before their Northampton studio in Massachusetts sadly closed in 2000.
Malachite Leaf Shaped Shallow Dish
This lovely malachite dish was sold recently. It had been extremely well finished and was highly polished.
The skillful polishing of the malachite enhanced its natural beauty.
Malachite is a green, semi-precious stone that is gathered as a sideline to copper mining. It has enjoyed popular cultural approval for a multitude of uses throughout known human history.
The ancient Egyptians used it enthusiastically as long ago as 4000 BC, grinding it into pigment for make-up and also using it to make sculptures and jewellery.
RARE ART DECO SYLVAC BOX WITH LID
This rare Sylvac Box with lid (Model Number 2111) was in pristine condition and now forms part of a private collection.
CASED PAIR OF SHEFFIELD SILVER SPOONS
This outstanding cased pair of silver spoons showed minimal age related wear.
They were fully hallmarked with the appropriate marks for the Sheffield Assay Office and carried the corresponding date letter.
CASED SET OF SIX BIRMINGHAM SILVER TEASPOONS by ARTHUR PRICE
These solid silver teaspoons carried four separate stamps including the anchor symbol for the Birmingham Assay Office and corresponding date letter.
SWAROVSKI WINNIE THE POOH CRYSTAL ORNAMENT
This delightful, very collectable crystal ornament was also sold recently.
Swarovski introduced the figurine in 2007 and retired it in 2012. It was part of their Disney range and based on the popular Winnie the Pooh character made world famous by A.A. Milne and E.H. Shepard.

NAO by LLADRO “PENSIVE BALLERINA” FIGURINE ORNAMENT
This fine example of Lladro pottery was recently sold from our eBay Business Listing.
The Lladro pottery tradition began in 1953 in the Spanish town of Valencia and then moved to better production facilities in the town of Tavernes Blanques. The Lladro family continue with pottery production to this day.
